i have known Steve since I was seventeen, a man of few words he accepted me as part of the family and was always there at family events.

When my Dad ( then in his eighties) collapsed at our son’s wedding, there was a lot of concern and someone said ‘ we need to call an ambulance’ Steve calmy told us he had already dialled 999. A practical and helpful action but with no fuss whatsoever. Thats how I remember Steve.
